Emergency Medical Services

Roslyn Rescue delivers free-of-charge, around-the-clock emergency medical care to the Roslyn Fire Direct and neighboring communities. Licensed by the New York State Department of Health, RRFD operates two Advanced Life Support (ALS)-equipped ambulances and a BLS Fly-Car, staffed by highly-trained EMTs and ALS providers (Paramedic, EMT-CC), under the supervision of online medical direction and our medical director. Committed to delivering clinically excellent pre-hospital emergency care, our providers undergo a rigorous credentialing process and  regularly participate in department-wide trainings, and continuing medical education initiatives.
