Years of continuous service

A community of volunteers protect and serve those who need us most

While volunteering as a firefighter or pre-hospital emergency medical provider (EMT) with the Roslyn Rescue Fire Department is hard and often dangerous work, it is also incredibly rewarding, with many benefits, both professionally and personally. Whether we are responding to a house fire, working on the front lines to protect our community during national health crises, or providing mutual aid to neighboring communities in the event of a natural disaster or mass casualty incident, our members are well-equipped to lend a hand, at any time.

Our all-volunteer membership base come from all walks of life, from tradespeople and business leaders, to police officers and professional firefighters. Students have a unique opportunity to supplement their education, developing an array of leadership, problem-solving and critical thinking skills valued in today’s workplace. Roslyn Rescue currently accepts applications for volunteer positions for both active firematic and EMS roles.
