Fire Suppression & Rescue Operations

Our firefighters and rescue personnel are highly skilled volunteers, trained in the art & science of fire suppression and rescue operations. Our department is equipped to respond to a myriad of emergencies including structural fires, motor vehicle incidents, elevator entrapment and heavy rescue incidents requiring advanced techniques. Our department relies on a host of apparatus (engine apparatus, rescue apparatus) and tools (the jaws of life) to ensure an efficient and quick response. Many of our firefighters are trained as emergency medical technicians or paramedics, enabling them to start patient care at the earliest possible moment in a rescue operation.
